about
It's a song about coming together and inclusivity amidst the perils of climate change and the fragile pale blue dot we all take shelter on while hurling through space for eternity. 100 fans submitted vocals to achieve the large choir vocal sound which they tracked to the demo and join Rich along with members of TWRP, Planet Booty, and NSP.
lyrics
verse 1:
Last night, when I wished you weren’t so far
I thought that somehow we fixed this
Our lives took a long time conceiving
This sound so it’s got to be powerful
prechorus:
can’t slow down
cause we coulda been years ahead
by now
can’t turn round
cause it shoulda been clear instead
it’s just we
can’t stop now
cause we shoulda faced this and said
that
we’re all in this or we’re dead!
chorus:
We’re in it together
Or not at all
We’re either in it forever
Or not at all
verse 2:
Once more as the world keeps on sinking
I thought that somehow we caught this
In time but it’s over for our house
Last chance so it’s got to be meaningful

Had to do a deep-dive on TWRP's back-catalog ever since I heard Friends of the Blues, and let me say, it DOES NOT disappoint. This is the soundtrack I want for my life. complexitron
The Australian band's balance between outward tranquility and emotional turbulence lends their songs incredible depth, resulting in a quiet triumph. Bandcamp Album of the Day Nov 20, 2020

From opening to close, this synthrock EP is immersive, punchy (kicky?), and full-bodied. Groove Crusader gives you a little bit of story and lets you imagine the criminally-cool adventure montages in tunes you'd expect from an insanely fun retro-style game. I adore Justice Wears High Tops!! escherbug
